Collected the long awaited Disco this morning, all good on the journey home though the ACE light (amber) came on after 70 miles. Pulled up, turned the engine off, restarted and no warning light. The vehicle has been stood for most of the last 5 months so I'm hoping was just a bit of dirt in the ACE system, in any case will be replenshing the fluid.

In the event I went for an 'old un', 2001 one owner, main dealer service to 5 months ago and only 300 miles since service/mot. Lets hope this is the start of a good relationship, time will tell :)

Tuskenraider's right lets have some pics, any plans for it, lift, snorkel, guards of any/all sorts, tyres, lights, armour plating????:D:D:D

It's an achievement for us old geezers to post on a forum, now you want bloody pictures  I'll see what I can do :). Not sure if it will work because my internet is run off a dongle and very slow, but I'll give it a go!

This is the best I can do for now :D

Thanks for sorting the pic Tuskanraider, not sure why it didn't work for me? First job is a full service including ACE filter, also n/s rear window got stuck today and had to physicaly lift the glass up. Can hear the electric mechanism working ok, sounds like somethings come adrift that lifts/lowers the glass. Other than that all fine, the amber ACE light hasn't come back on. Clocked up a couple hundred miles since picking it up yesterday on roads/tracks just to get the feel of it :D
