The airsprings fail when old but nothing that happens to them affects the heights until the point of failure, height is controlled by the height sensors which also wear but the readings do not change significantly until they reach the point of failure. Bad connections do cause faults and erroneous heightsJust spoke to a local landrover specialist and he said that as its 9 years old what tends to happen is the springs wear etc and recalibrating it should be enough to sort it, he said £54 all in so seems ok unless I find someone else with diagnostics local to me who wants to do it instead
Re-calibrate and see if it holds the calibration, if it does not and the back goes out of cal then it will be time for investigation. you don't know what has gone before, it may be that it has been worked on and re-calibrated incorrectly.Yeah it's definitely to low at the back, do you think it's more likely to be airbags or height sensors at fault ?
