I want a canopy for my pickup.

I like both the ifor Williams solid and the soft one.

What are the pros and cons of both and how does the ifor Williams ship?
Is it completely disassembled and packed safely enough to make the trip to the Bahamas?

How would the soft top hold up in the tropics?

Thanks.

Soft tops are made of a plasticky material these days so would be ok ish in sun, Ifor canopy is pretty big and heavy, not sure it'll pack down either.

I have a spare one but its no good to you in Devon!!

You can't leave anything worth nicking in a soft top though.

i have'nt got a canvas tilt on my 110 crew cab or my 90 truckcab dont seem to have any trouble
dont leave anything really valuable in um but buckets of tools shovels etc ,even leave the hi-lift on the 90.

I got a soft top, got a big old bit of nylon coated steelwire and a padlock, thread it through hi-lift, my ropes and oil cans and all sorted. Bolted an old ammo box on the floor to leave spanners, bottle jack etc and just stuck a padlock latch on it. Never had any problems with stuff getting half inched :)

Also IIRC you can't break an ifor down, the skin is one piece.

hes in the bahamas not sheffield, even a hard top wouldnt deter them from nicking stuff there, sheffield that is

Hey I'm not in sheffield, I'm out in a village nearby and I think you're confusing Sheffield with Liverpool anyway.
