Hi, could someone please take a photo of how the two top radiator brackets attach please? On a 300tdi please. There seems to be a rubber spacer and not sure exactly how it attaches. Mine were missing when i bought the car

Mines a 200 but I'm sure it's similar.
Rubber thing slides over the pin on top of the rad frame, bracket bolts to the innerwing.

Not so Flossie, on 300 a Z shaped bracket has a rubber bush at the rad side and then two small bolts hold it to the front grill holder each side of the bonnet catch. Either type can be fitted though, however the later type are easier to fit.
You can get some galv ones from YRM metal soloutions for about £20

This picture shows the bracket, however it was part dismantled as the two bolts that go through the slam panel have been removed , these bolts also hold the horn in place under the slam panel.

I've never messed around them fancy new fangled 300 TDI tratters, stuck in 1986 I am

Thank you! Perfect! And very helpful! Good point about the horn, mine seems to be missing together! No idea where I put it after dismantling the whole vehicle
