I need some help, I have a 2010 Freelander 2 and i can't connect my phone. I press the phone button and nothing happens. I've checked the fuses for the bluetooth and they all seem to fine, I'm I missing something.

it's a Freelander Xs Td4, it says it comes with bluetooth
Just because there's a phone button on the head unit, doesn't mean that it has BT phone integration. LR used the same HU facia buttons, regardless of options fitted. Just because the buttons are on the wheel, doesn't mean it has BT, it could have had a replacement wheel fitted. However most likely is that it did have BT, but the BT module went wrong (very common), and has been linked out from the MOST, so the phone options won't come up on the screen.

My BT module used to work and integrate my iPhone 8 such that I could scroll through my contacts on the radio display and make & receive calls using the buttons on the wheel.

Doesn't work now. BT module, located behind the drivers side boot panel, is kaput.

NOTE: It never, ever, allowed you to stream music over BT. It was never designed to.

BT = BlueTooth not British Telecom.

I had trouble with this when i first got my FL2 last year, the only thing i could find in any settings was to delete previous pairings.
Before you open the car door, turn your bluetooth on and search for devices, then get in the car and your phone will detect 'Land Rover'.
I found this out when i was going from tesco to argos looking for usb bluetooth dongles to get it to work. I was searching when i got to the car and it connected no probs. Hope this helps 👍🏼
