This is a tad worse than expected.90% didn't show until I tried knocking tow bar bolts through then fell off in clumps.

Not really, it can only get better now.will clean up the crossmember and plate.then fit this,

D1 better chassis, D2 better body in the rust resistance stakes!

To think that so many have unwittingly gone to remove the tow bar and made the same scary discoveries you have, for many that rot makes it uneconomical to repair at a garage!

Progress troday.some more welding tomorrow to tidy up and some plates to strengthen.
