Got a strong petrol smell from me 3.9 after turning engine off, seems to be coming from the left side (viewed from front of the engine) I cant see any leak but as me Daddy said if you can smell it it's leaking, any ideas where it may be coming from, no smell at all when running

The fuel system is pressurised so don't do anything until you have disconnected the fuel pump relay under the drivers seat. Run the engine until it cut's out.

Depending on age, could be the fuel hoses so replace them.
Only other thing I can think of that's not obvious is the fuel pressure regulator, rear of the L/H cylinder head.

Fuel pump relay is not under the drivers seat but behind the drivers footwell kick panel on a 300 series, for a 200 series it's behind the passenger footwell kick panel.
