I have a 72 high indicator one ,that just squeezed it...:D

Bio Deisel what is that?

bio deisel comes in 2 forms, the one is based on recycled veg oil, this generally needs to be mixed with deisel, especially during the colder months, in real cold weather it can be as low as only 5% bio.
the other, the one i use, is made from rape seed oil, this costs more than veg oil but is 100% usable with no side effects. both oils are cheaper than deisel and almost 100% renewable and environmentally friendly:D

do you have to make any alterations to it to run well on the rape seed oil?
is it just the stuff you buy from the shops?
i use run well loosely as i drive a series 3....

i buy mine straight from the pump at a locol garage, no messing, no alterations.
if you use vegtable oil based fuel , then strictly speaking the fuel filter will need to be changed regularly.

deisel engines were originally designed to run on nut oil, so rape seed oil works well.

as for running well? i guess that depends on what you drive lol

try looking at www.biodeiselfillingstations.co.uk for your local supplier and some biodeisel facts.

happy motoring

Where abouts are you in East Yorks Keef. The only place I can find that sells it is the Rix garages and thats bio blend. Theres a place in York that sells 100% bio.

And i am correcting you both, its vehicles manufactured before 31st december 1972 and/or first regged before january 7th 1973, so how in gods name does your 1971 miss it???

I see, but usually when you miss something it means that you don't make it.
so to get tax exemption you make the cut off date:rolleyes:
