It might be the way the video shows it, and far be it for me to tell peeps how to winch..... but that winch attachment seems a bit low on the disco - almost in the middle?
could it not have been attached higher up, closer to the drivers side?

+1 leverage helps

It was attached to the chassis just in front of the rear wheels, front, back or middle would have been the same. If the side step had been a tree slider it would have been a better point for more "leverage"

Really didn't want it to come over and bounce back as you can see it was still at quite an angle even on all four wheels. :)

Circumstances can conspire to make the most unlikely things happen but FFS 30 on that lane???:eek:

shoulda put a strap through each of the wheels and brought em together into the middle like 2 sides of a triangle so pulling from both ends of the vehicle at once and with more leverage meaning less force required to get it upright.;)

Interesting story...

back in the day, to put a car back on its 4 wheels for us the easy`ist way for us would require pulling from the other side over the roof, but can understand they were stuffed it being on that side to start with.

Hey all I have just had a phone call off him as I know him I don't know what situation they are in now but I am going over to check it out and offer my assistance. They are a good bunch of lads bit stupid sometimes. If anyone can offer there help with a winch would be great.

I think he posted on the wrong thread.

The Thread he started was based in Worcester as well.
