i have just bought a series 3 110 with a perkins fitted that has a broken fuel pump by the previous owner, i now cannot decide weather to put a V8 in it as it was that when new or to fix the perkins, what are they like when running ok

4.203 you say, they are a grate injuin in my opinion, practically indestructible. They pull like a train, sound like a train but just don't go like a train. with an overdrive they will cruse at 55 all day but will do 70 if you push your foot through the floor and then sum

get a pump from any hyster fork lift place, all the old hysters used to have 4203's in em

i've just bought a 88" series 3 with a perkins and an overdrive as well, it shifts when you give it some welly like! sounds like a loud tractor though!
