My TD5 auto 2004 drop power when accelerating, i have a twisted performance boost module fit yet it still overboost, also just recently when oulled out to overtake a lorry at 50mph i pushed the accelerator down but no speed increase.
I tried this again later on after engine and gearbox fully upto temp but same again, also when push the accelerator to the floor it does not kickdown not. The only time it seems to drive mormally is at town speeds, put your foot down and it accelerates great until it overboosts.
alot of the tuning companies do not want to know.
I have replaced the MAP sensor, lubricated turbo actuator and fit new solenoid, i have order a new MAF - not delivered as yet.
The car is fully servied including gearbox oil and it has only covered 53k.
It also has a Dynachip remap, which is when the overboost problem started but i expected the module the cancel that out, i have 2 module but still overboosting.
Any info greatly appreciated...

check yer heisenberg compensator first then the ion propulsion drive :)

failing that hit it wiv a big hammer :D

How to get silly (and a little funny) answers to your problems:

1. Join a forum.

2. Don't introduce yourself in the appropriate area.

3. Don't do a search to see if the question has already been asked to see what the answer was then.

4. Ask the question and hope that the members who have already answered the same question a number of times will just answer it yet again and not be annoyed.

This guy's serious. He capitalized "NO" and he forgot to put a period at the end of the sentence, therefore he's exhibiting signs of confusion and anger.

Since he's serious, we should take him seriously. Seriously.

Has he gone:confused::confused::confused: Stop picking on him, why has no-one suggested that he might be better off asking the question in a more appropriate section??

With his obvious calm, collected, reasoned manner and abundant sense of humour, may I humbly suggest he tries 'Anything goes' :D:D:D:D
