I managed to sort it with a new stud... unfortunately still a chirping noise! What’s next to change?? Thanks for your help so far

Have you actually changed the tensioner and belt yet (95% chance that is the issue)?

+1 for the belt and tensioner (but make sure you get the dayco ones) I found island 4x4 to be the best price for the tensioner (ERR4708G). Also have you considered the water pump for the noise?

Changed tensioner.... belt looks as good as new.... will put on my new belt this week..... need to drive home from mid Wales so hoping I can silence the noise a bit with a bit of belt dressing.... I think it’s the water pump. Thanks for your reply

If you do change your water pump........

Do the P gasket at the same time, ask me how I know
