I had Delphi at about £36 a pair (1x upper, 1x lower) Febi Bilstein id expect to pay about the same. worked out £67 full set shopping around.
Lemforder about £55 single pair what I priced up is what I would have preferred but pushes budget up too much for me.

<grumbles>
So, while the hub should disassemble reasonably easily as it’s been apart recently to replace the front diff, work has paused because (apart from it being OH’s birthday) the Lemforder ball joints I ordered from ECP had transformed into Febi-Blistein ones by the time they’d arrived.

a bit of digging and it seems that these are ‘old stock’ (they don’t list them any more) but they have the same part no.

now I’m just a bit concerned and p*seed off as, while I’m sure they’re of a decent standard, they’re not what I ordered and -can I be certain they’re an exact replacement ?

Do any of you gave experience of Febi-Blistein ? (I mean, I know the name)

Should I just go ahead and try them ? Should I ask for a rebate ? Or should I demand they send me the parts I ordered ?

thanks again

Bob

Febi should be fine.

GT85 is my personal favourite ;)

never fails to work even on the old rust shaped elephant AKA Disco 2. ;)
