I'm gonna be measuring those holes this weekend. I need to get to my parents shop. So those numbers provided are those for the valve cover?

He is giving tap size equivalents between measuring systems, not specifically the size of those holes. Once we know the size of those holes, we can determine where to go from here.

As far as Canada is concerned, I am not in the trade but looking at taps for sales, I see a mix of BSP and NPT.

Thanks for that tid bit.

I just ordered the parts from Atlantic British and received my tracking info today. I didn't have the proper size tap for the job :( but I have to work out something out.

Ok I fitted the parts. I fitted a new valve cover gasket and expansion tank hose. The push fit I ordered from Atlantic British was the wrong one. It's the LZN 100309 L. It's a 8mm push fit but the part I needed was 11 mm and is not provided by AB. I ended up buying a push fit at a local hydrolic shop, only cost me $4 US dollars. I just popped the sleeve off the push fit and fitted it into the PCV pipe attached to te valve cover. Really easy and is working really well. I also did a complete coolant wash and refilled and bleeded it well. ( found an really informative thread here) everything is running great just need to change the prop bearings now :)
