My passport expires in October 22 but was issued in February 12 and as a consequence of leaving the EU you now need 3months validity FROM the DATE of ISSUE.so my trippet is delayed for a week or so.At least I didn't find out at the airport tomorrow.

One plus this time is that I was able to renew my passport on line at a relatively modest cost rather than having to drive to the UK embassy Paris and pay €385 to renew.Hopefully just a week John,pick my new one up on Thursday if all goes to plan, flights for the Saturday.
