hi there, my passenger side electric window is not working, although my drivers side does. its a G reg 200tdi disco if this helps. does anybody know what could be wrong. i dont think it can be the fuse if the drivers is working.

Try narrowing down the problem - swap the switch with the driver side one to see if the window works with that one. Pull the handbrake gaiter off and then slide out the panel with the window switches on it.

We had to do this recently when the front N/S window stopped working, swapped the front & rear switch's and hey presto front window back in action.

Could be yer switch then james. pop the panel off and find out what that other blimmin button does! Am dying to know lol

Jim I gathered it mite be the switch hence the previous replies lol. I'll post pic of that switch later when I have time

Hi James

Similar problem recently with both front windows, it ended up being in the little box, the I think ecu.. Once secured well, both windows working fine.

Mine turned out to be the switch - swapped them round to prove it and then dismantled the switch (2000TD5 auto). Little metal thing had displaced. Put it back together in right place and works fine again.
