Do you think this could be part of the problem, would a blocked drain pipe cause engine revs to drop? Thanks again.

Dude, maybe you should stop doing river crossings all the time .... :p

Unlikely ...
That is maybe s Wammers says in post #38 ...
Try to get a diagnostic on it to read fault codes ...

OK, Thanks. The fuel filter was changed 3k ago so i think i can tick that one off. Will look into the others that you stated. I noticed this morning that i have only one A\C drain pipe working so i assume that the other one is blocked. Could this be part of the problem? I will try and clear the blocked drain pipe tomorrow. Thanks for your help, will keep you updated.

No.

Got a Diagnostic report no faults found. The Land Rover garage recommended give it a good long blast on the motorway,as Iv'e been doing lots of short stop start journeys recently. Maybe a good run will sort it. Will take it round the M25. Will let you know the result. Thanks for your advice.

M25, well that will be stop start motoring.;):D

It done the trick though, gave it a good long blast on the M25 at 3am with a bottle of Redex in the tank, and all running sweet again. And the water leak in the footwell turned out to be coming from the pollen filter cover, filled them both with sealent and all seems ok now. Thanks for your help and Happy Landrovering.
