hi took my 98 disco one for mot she is on 204556 miles and she just gone through mot for the 3 year in a row i well pleased

no lol she used daily for work and used for shooting i do about 20.000 miles a year init

Mine is about half that milage and fails every year!

Nope cause body and mechanics are really good.Fail 3yrs ago on cut to inside tyre wall,fail 2yrs ago on faulty fog light switch,fail last year on excess corrosion to rear discs.Local garage quite strict!

My disco has never failed, neither did my RRC, its not difficult to do a pre MOT check.

Did have an advisory three years ago for a chip on the windscreen, "come-on, it's been there for the last 12 years", no response on that.

Same here 96 121000 miles , all the tester ever says to me is "get you next year:censored:"

My tester said to me this year "I'm afraid your vehicle has failed" ..."for being to clean".
Well it would be clean with only 42900 miles and weekend use only

my 97 300 tdi disco got 176000 and passed last 3 with no advisories, absolutely solid..inner wings boot floor, under chassis..rear arches been touched up but very clean...

Ive just done all my welding replaced sills with box section and rock sliders ready for fresh mot for this bad weather on way, then i have a fight with a circular saw at work,now lying in hospital bed waiting for operation n no driving for min 6 weeks gggrrrr
