hi, i have replaced all the seals on my pas box after it started leaking. it worked fine when i went on a test drive then the next time i used it it started leaking again. i replaced the steering column oil seal and dirt shield but the same thing happened again. i've just taken the box off to have a proper look and the seal has started to pop out like there is too mitch pressure or there is another seal inside that is supposed to hold the main pressure.
anyone had this befor or no where i've gone wrong.
thanks in advants

are you sure you didnt do that fitting the input shaft, there is no other seal just the 2 types that come with the box a stepped soft rubber seal with steel backing washer ,and later std type oil seal both use a circlip

this is the second seal i put in. the first time it was off the car so would of noticed it and the second time i slid it over the shaft which has a shafer on it.
will seal number 8 on the drawing hold any of the pressure as they did not come with the kit

there 3 no 8s they are square section nylon and are for sealing the valve to housing ,if they were leaking it should effect the pas steering, but its worth checking you need a full seal kit stc2847 to replace them, the box does take full pressure when you turn right
