Hi , I have just bought a defender and need to know the name of the ridge of metal between the apron and the floor.It appears to sandwiched between rubber seals and is very corroded.can anyone help please.Tam

steel trim on floor by sound of it is it black/rusty

Surely everyone outside of belgium knows what they're called? Its the ''sandwiched between 2 rubber seals'' thats confused me...which admittedly isn't difficult!

Think he means the bit between the sill and the floor/seatbox that holds the lower seal that the door shuts to.

Seein' as it's his furst post, ah think he's sitting waiting fur summit tae happen.. unless he keeps refreshing the page!

Anyways, If it's the sill channels the parts are ALR5294 and ARL5295 as the older ones seem tae be superceded to these
