Depends if you have spot welded the nuts to the hinge bolts. For good measure spot weld the nuts to the door.

They have done what any chop shops do, They home their skills of dismantling on other cars they steal. Before long they are stripping a car in an hour flat of what is worth taking.
There would have been 5 of them there at least. Thing is they might have been disturbed by a passing car or uber driver dropping off a customer, but many people would drive by and not get involved.
In this day and age who can blame them, if you got stabbed trying to stop the theft or grassed the criminals up it would end up in your house being burnt out or you being terrorised daily.

The back up alarm (BBUS) has not been tampered with, the headlights and side lights are still fitted.

We've been telling peeps on ere for many years to improve security. Changing screws holding doors on. Fitting alarms with vibration sensing and motion detecting. This fred is a warning to tratterers to take action now, or it could be your motor stripped next if yer don't. They're too easily stolen or bits unbolted.

The trouble with towing them is you have more chance of being pulled by plod at night, also a lot of the cars have one or more steering locks and brake locks which are noisy to get off and also time consuming
They know what they’re doing and take just what they need, to be gone in as quick a time as possible. The used parts market has a lot to play in this, following the ceasing of production of the defender. Lots are still happy to buy parts with little thought of where the parts are coming from, or worse still, parts being stolen to order. How many Tdi or Td5 landies do you see being sold with Tdci doors fitted??? They’re not all from legitimate sources or bought new, I’ll bet.
