Hi guys
Son has finally ordered the parts he was suppose to a few weeks ago, anyway can anyone tell me the part numbers for the steering relay mounting bolts and nuts please as we forgot to order them the last time

Series 2 / 2a numbers are =>

Top bolts (2 of) BX605281 - 7/16" UNF X 3.5"
Top nuts (2 of) GHF201 - 7/16" UNF
Top spring washers (2 of) 564825

Bottom bolts (4 of) 255206
Spring washers (4 of) GHF331

Dunno if its the same for series 3

Yeah I think so but I need them as I let the relay go with old chassis inc the bolts

Now you know the size your local fastener supplier if you have one or look on WEB/Ebay for much better prices.

...and if you buy them from a fastener supplier make sure you get high tensile steel ones for steering components

(And don't be clever and think the usual stainless will be better because they won't rust - they might not rust as fast but compared with high tensile steel they are about as strong as cream cheese)

Yep, I only stick stainless in non structural bits. I had a look on evilbay and found some high tensile ones for around £5 for 2.
