Advice please, have 2002 L322 Vogue with old cd nav. Seen DVD nav for sale with PART number yib000080.
Will this fit my car? and if so what else do I need or is it a straight swap.
Spoke to local Stealer and left several messages now with parts department...
Never rang me back!!!

Its the old cd nav, and has old cd nav disk 2002, they went dvd after this time so can not update to a newer cd, therefore the maps are nine years old.

Thats strange i have the old Philips Carin sat nav and my disc is 2010. The 2011 was too expensive to buy, but you can pick up the previous years for £25.00 or less on Ebay. There are different makes Teleatlas being the most expensive.

I have looked for a newer cd, with no luck. They all seem to be DVD.
If you can point me in the right direction to obtain one, that would be great.

Go on Ebay and look for discs for your model of sat nav. Don't know what it is, but mine is Carin yours maybe a BMW. Discs are available for all models. Look through Teleatlas discs. Do look for discs for L322 just for your model of unit.

The YIB000080 unit will not work in your 2002 model as it doesn't work on the BMW i-bus and is only suitable for fibre-optic/MOST systems from 2006 onwards.

You need a BMW Mk4 (DVD-based) unit, which is a straight swap for your existing Mk3 (CD-based) system.
