I'm confused as f"*£

The rear diff has started seeping oil where it attaches to the prop.
What part number is the seal?
Do I need anything else?
Is it worth changing the bearing at the same time ( I don't intend removing the diff)?

Probably use OEM parts - any thoughts?

I don't know the number but it's just a Salisbury axle seal which I had no problems ordering from paddocks a few yrs back. You may need a new prop flange if it's scored bad and count the revolutions when undoing the nut because it's all pre loaded and stuff.

try this? is it item 15 you're after?!

I had this on my 87 90 recently. Make sure you check that the rear axle breather is clear before replacing your seal. You might find that a blocked breather is the route cause for the blown seal (nowhere for the pressure to escape so the seal near the prop becomes the point of least resistance)... you wouldn't want it to just happen again with the new one.
