Hi Gary,

shall this be the switch as per photo? In my handbook p. 91 it shows it in the same place as you described it.
Kind Regards
Matthias

Hi Gary,
Ok will go there ans Check for the Switch. No haven't found the plug yet. That's what anonym me a bit at the moment I Must admit but will go ahead searching for it :). It can't be one hanging down from the seat I guess.

hiya, the on off switch on mine is above the fog light on the instrument panel pinicle and not on the centre console, if u go to a land rover dealer they will be able to order it for u, look behind the blank and the wires should be there

under the drivers seat u should see a slit, if u rake aeound u will find a wire tucked under the carpet, carefuly plug the wire and a small plug should be on the end of it,

mines a former commercial 2002 , 3 door, td4 auto so i would assume it should be there

have another look , plud dont forget to buy a second hand cruise control ecu as it will be pre activated and will just be the case of plug and play, all u need then is the paddle switch for ur steering wheel, i actually bought a new steering wheel with the ive and cruise control paddles on it, think i paid around 60 quid if memory serves me right

hope u get on ok, but u must find the wire under the carpet first and in theory being the same year as mine should be there

let us know how u get on

all the best

gary
Thanks Gary. I found the wires underneath the seat already though couldn’t find the plug yet. Checked them with the colouring you gave and that matched, so assume it must be there somewhere. Might take the carpet off if not possible otherwise. Have a box scb100190, though it‘s not the one you showed somewhere, but a black one from Rover. Have it for long, already before the gearbox died. Read that time that it’d fit as well, so hope it does. The paddles were installed by LR in DE and they told me I‘d need a switch like yours. Ordered it there, but it got lost also before the gearbox died and now I am not there anymore.

Talked to LR in Slough, but they couldn‘t locate the parts number, only for the centre console, but my handbook shows it like yours. Gave me also the paddle number which I already have. Will see if I can find it. Might call LR in DE again to see if they can find the number again if I can‘t get it otherwise. Last time was around 35€, if I remember correctly.
