Ok so when I got my Series 3 it had Defender doors on it but I have gone back to Series doors. i got a used lock for the passenger door but bought a new one for the drivers door. On the passenger lock there is a thin shim that goes between the lock and the door. Does anyone have a part no for this or do you even need it? Pic below.

Thanks.

Yeah that's the baby. It says it's for an anti burst style lock but I've got the normal door.locks so I reckon I don't.need it.

I have the normal style locks on mine but still have this shim fitted. Purely because it came with the locks when I bought them.

My new drivers side lock never came with one.

Mine is not fancy enough to have new locks, I got mine second hand. They came with the plate, so I assumed they had been removed with the plate, so I refitted them with the plate. Not sure if it is needed but having it has not caused an problems.
