Hi everyone, I've just finished cleaning my handbrake drum / replacing shoes. However, I'm left with a bracket which doesn't seem to fit anywhere. I can remember taking it off with the drum but not exactly where. I've included a picture - if anyone can tell me where it goes I'd really appreciate it!

I recognize it but also can't remember where. I think it's held on by 2 of the 4 bolts holding the backplate on. You should see witness marks in the dirt.

There is a little hole in the back plate that allows any oil in the catch plate to exit to the outside world. Check it is clear now and then. Land Rover engineering, don't you love it:eek::D instead of making sure it does not leak in the first place arrange so when it does leak is causes no further issues. [ at least for a while ]:rolleyes:
