Hi folks. I'm looking for a part that land rover say is no longer available. Part number is WYX100050 it's the white plastic retaining collar that sits over the fuel tank (at fuel pump) then the metal locking ring tightens to this . This is for a 2000 4.6 V8 as it changed at 1999

Anyone have any ideas. I destroyed mine taking the pump out

There’s a change over on the petrol locking rings. Your one is Part number ESR3808 (‘99 on)
Earlier models part number NTC5858 - locking ring

They are available even as a genuine LR part, is this what you mean or the seal?

The metal locking ring is correct however it's the white plastic ring that this metal one tightens onto bud.
White ring seen in pic below

Haha that I did bud. Now can't get the stupid plastic ring as I busted it getting the metal ring off.

Anyone know anyone breaking a 2000 4.6?

Any 99 on petrol is same part so 4.0 too

LR direct state ‘no longer available’. I’d phone J.craddock and explain to him - he may be able to track something down.

‘P38 spares’ has good range of used parts, some can be bit pricey but given the circumstance

That looks like the part bud. It's listed for the rr 2003 onwards and disco ect but looks like the right one just with a new part number. I've called my local LR dealer and they will have one in tomorrow for me. Hoping and praying it's exactly what I need
