I had fitted a Parrot Bluetooth hands free kit to my previous vehicle, A range Rover P38 4.6 Autobiography. As the head unit in that vehicle sends its signal to an amplifier, I needed to add this bit of kit to the install to make the Parrot work successfully. As a bonus it allowed me to stream music from my phone to the cars stereo. The bit of kit is called a MatchMute 4 Channel, stereo audio streaming for pre amplified head units. It was manufactured in Italy and is in full working order and has the fitting instructions included.
I used it in conjunction with a Parrot MKi9200 and it just plugged in-between the parrot's main unit and the head unit via the included wiring adaptor. I cannot say if it would work with other Parrot units, but cannot see any reason why not.
Please note this kit does not include the SOT lead to connect a Parrot to your head unit, you will need to source that yourself, if you don't already have one.
I think it cost about £30 when I bought, but happy to give it away free to someone who can make good use of it.
