Well had a great day out at parkwood. It was nice to put face's to name's.found a few new black runs that i had'nt done before i think thats where most of my body damage came from:rolleyes:.so far i have found dent on wing, big dent on o/s side panel and roof, smashed n/s alpine window, broken o/s front bumper and n/s front window winder broken as window just dropped to the bottom on the way home:eek:.was it all worth it sure was had a great day.

Nige dont forget to change alternator bolt.

Andy

Do you mean that place where everyone was smashing up that gully? Did you brake your back window?

No mate, there was a black run that goes into a water run that was related to as the canal near the start. Only broke my indicator lens whilst bullying the nobs in the jap crap outa the way.
Good day after I re-seated my tyre after blowing it off the rim.

Are you the guy we helped blow it back on with brake cleaner

Must admit Alex, the jap-crap crowd are what gave me the balls to attempt that rivene lol

Well remembered Andy, ill sort it this afternoon :)

Can't remember if I posted my damage report, but so far, both o/s doors are more aerodynamic, rear bumper is now a low spoiler & the nut/bolt on alternator adjuster kinda threaded lol
But no bangs or weird noises at motorway speeds this morning on the way to work, so can't be that bad lol

Thanks for all the offers of help with the diff chaps, no it wasn't pegged, I have made enquiries about my options for that already.

I'm on 10 spline but that is an air locker so I only need the CWP and I think apart from 3 bolt flanges they're all the same?

Big Al and Paul, thankyou for offers of parts, will be in touch shortly after listening to advice from my diff pegging friend :)

Had a brilliant day, although didn't really speak to anyone, think I need to change my name to Mr Shy.
Luckily for me only damage I did was bending rear step.
First time off roading and I absolutely loved it definitely got the bug 😁
also it's the first time my defenders seen any mud as previous owner only used it on road.

No mate nij and 200 (Andy) helped secure the disco whilst I changed it then after I got it bump started I could use my onboard air to blow it back up in the car park.

My disco is a three door that's matt black, rear tinted windows with silver chequer plate door bottoms.;)

Noisy good to meet you and you wern't the only one I think my diff lasted 30 minutes..so iv got the joys of trying to sort that as well but the front which is a pain in the arse to get shafts out.

Uncle managed to come away unharmed apart from his usual running out of battery trick.

and Jonny managed to pull his tyre off the rim which was then put back on using brake cleaner and a lighter...

all in all good day, once vids are on youtube il post them as there on my FB page

Nice one paul

Will have to organise this Parkwood thing again, I didn't get to see anyone in action!!! :( :( :(
