Just a general interest item, showing us putting the trailer away after a show last year.

The trailer is fully loaded, Philip points to the rear tyres, which as we pull round at the bottom of the close are being seriously twisted by the action of the turning.

The dashcam is a mini0801, HD imaging, shame about the bugs on the windscreen!

Peter

Must be easier pushing it from the front as you can see which way the trailer's front wheels are pointing to steer it. Wouldn't fancy it with the car in reverse. Looks like you nearly pulled a rear tyre off!

Reversing it normally isn't too much of a problem, and we have wireless cameras in the back with a monitor on the dash.

The trailer was fully loaded in the video (3500kg) so the tyres couldn't scrub over the road surface.

Here are some more, first two are us leaving the Nuenen (Holland) engine show in May, then the last is us parking up at a very wet Villey le sec (France) site later that same day.

One from last year, leaving Villey Le Sec on a glorious June morning:

It looks like you have the tow ball in the middle of the car , its quite advantageous to put it on the left side in line with chassis leg , that way you can see down one side of trailer when going straight , whereas at the moment its hard to see down any side . JMHO

The Watling front towbar that we have has both central and offset receivers, but we nearly always use the central one.

Same Lincolnshire engineering as the Ruston & Hornsby diesel that is in the back of the trailer.

Hi, never thought of being able to push with towball at front of car. I have a caravan that I have to reverse up onto my drive and pushing it would make it easier. Can you tell me what the legal position is?

Here's the follow-on from the Villey Le Sec video:

Takes you down to the main road between Toul and Nancy.

Large LeClerc superstore at the roundabout, sell LPG and regular bottled gas at the service station attached to the store, you'll see the service station just before the second roundabout, on the right.

my s3 has a tow ball mounted to the front bumper, put on before i got it and i have had the car for years no one has ever stopped me.
