any ideas or comments...supplier/fitter in north east england??

also, what are the two access panels for in the back of the doublecab behind the spare wheel??

thanks

You can fit em yourself easily enough but there are plenty of fitters around, where abouts in the north east are you?

I fitted a reversing camera to mine - £40 from Maplin.
Better than sensors IMO and very handy when hitching up a trailer.

teesside

tried a few places but they seem reluctant .....ok with plastic bumpers but are shy of drilling a landy

my dad got some put on an mg will try to find out where for you, not badly priced he thought and they were in Middlesbrough so pretty close.

I fitted stick on parking sensors on my landy for when the missus is driving. Took me all of 10 mins and the kit cost about £10 on ebay. If the sensors get covered in mud they do beep all the time when reversing until you wipe em.

this one looks like it has stick on sensors...

Backscan Car Reversing Parking Sensor - Brand New on eBay (end time 22-Jul-10 19:54:48 BST)

Oh, the old 'for when the missus is driving'? Bollox yer puff!

Ratty cun't paaaark, Ratty cun't paaaark, ner, ner, nah, ner, ner! :D

On the contrary dearest Gripsybabes.:p

I don't have a problem wiv parking. I reverse until the rearward motion ceases (this can occasionally be accompanied by a 'clunking' noise and a jolt dependent upon the speed reversed at). My spare wheel is now resting on the front of my *truck*. Apply handbrake and get out. Another successful bit or parking;)

note: the term *truck* refers to the 7.5 ton variety with flashing lights on top most commonly found parked in front of, behind or next to any vehicle owned by S71.

I can't be the only one who thinks if you can't reverse and park using your eyes, mirrors and knowing the dimensions of the vehicle you're driving, you shouldn't be on the bloody road. Surely.

You worry me when you start signing off as Shirley for two reasons.

1. You can't spell.

2. You are probably back off up the Castle.
