Good morning all, I hope someone can help.

I’ve very recently bought a Freelander 2 TD4 GS 2013 and was wondering if someone had a workaround for reducing the volume of the rear parking sensors?

I believe the GS models don’t have a volume adjustment but if anyone knows where the ‘beeper’ is located I could at least muffle it.

Try turning down the stereo volume when the beeper is active.

There's no separate beeper, as the sound comes from the stereo speakers, hence turning the volume down.

Thank you Nodge68 - much appreciated. I’m about to try your suggestion.

It would be great if it retains the volume set when active, so I’ll try that too.

Hello again Nodge68 ...altering the audio volume while the parking sensor is active has no effect, but the beeping does appear to be coming from the (rear only) speakers. I couldn't be 100% certain as I was on my own.

Any other takers?
