i fitted new parabolic springs and shocks yesterday and the rear springs are rock hard.
after a bit of research i have found that 88s have 3 springs and 109s 4. i was sent and fitted the the 4 on an 88.
my question is can i remove the second to last (working top to bottom) spring converting the 109 springs i have to work correctly on an 88?

it would save the ball ache of returning them ordering new ones ect.

on my parabolic's i you can remove the last leaf to soften it if you need, but you'd still need to go through all of the trouble of undoing the u bolts and shackles before dismantling the spring.
you'd be better phoning and telling them to send you the new ones and tell them they can have the wrong ones back when you've changed them.

thanks for the replies guys.

for the benefit of anyone doing a search and finding this question the answere is that if you remove one spring it does work.
