So ive finally got my old 90 in a useable state mechanically and want to tidy up the outside a bit. Its had a very nasty re spray with more runs than Nory Battys tights, but the biggest prob is the paint is a really soft finish - you can nearly scratch it off with a thumb nail. Ive removed the big "county" stickers from the doors and this has left load of sticky gobbo. Ive tried petrol, thinners and god knows what else but it wont stop being sticky and i cant sand it off.
Any help please with how best to prepare it for a slightly better spray job?
thanks
steve
