Hello all,

You probably get bored of this question but can someone tell me the colour of my Landy? She is currently in bits and I need to paint some new panels.

I would guess it looks like Brunswick green or British Racing Green, but I can't remember who owns BRG & whether LR would have had it as an original colour. Of course, that may not have been her original livery when manufactured. Someone may have given her a re-paint at some time.

Yeah I can’t seem to work out what colour she is. I guess she might have to be a patchwork quilt until I find the right shade!

Thanks all.

Haha, I knew that would get someone excited! Luckily, it’s just rested on their for advertisement purposes! I got £20 for that on fleabay!!

Ooohhh, I dunno. Reckon you might have started something there.. :D

Same problem for me. I've an Off White 98 300tdi - original paint but it's 20 years old and I can't find a match, even with proper LR paint.
Doesn't help that previous owner wasn't so particular, looks like they've used bleedin Tippex!:(

Coniston Green was the colour for ‘96; Epsom Green for Counties.
Yours may not be original though as the roof has vents which were removed as an option in ‘90.
I’m assuming yours is of ‘96 pedigree with the ‘N’ prefix.

I'm attaching another photo that I took at Cheshire Steam Fair ........ may be of use to others too.
I know some places are able to mix paint up from a few sample flakes to tell the colour:)

Mine started out as a panel can and was then converted to a CSW. I’m presuming this means it’s a Coniston.

epsom green is metallic so I reckon yours is coniston. it's a bit of minefield trying to find the right green especially as so many "previous owners" use random no standard land rover greens to respray their cars!

I spent 2 years trying to find the right green only to find out it was standard consiton!
