Hiyas,

Looking for a source that would know the LR paint chip number for a hardtop,
namely the tropical vented top. Its like an off-white cream color. (1975
Series III)

ALSO, the same for the steel wheels. Is it the same color ? Thanks in
advance

I think it should be Limestone - see
http://www.stephen.hull.btinternet.co.uk/color.html for code details

I'm sure Steve will be along shortly to tell me I'm wrong.

No you're right ;) I'd also say it was Limestone, colour code LRC.007,
1959-1984.

Steve.

Hi Steve,

I saw your great site - nice job. Do you sell paint chip swatches so I can
tell my paint guy what color to match too? If not, do you know who does?

thanks in advance

;-)

I don't sell colour swatches, these are only used by car paint mixing
factors and they're expensive at around £600 for a set.

You can purchase BS, NCS and RAL colour charts but unlike the above
these don't show vehicle manufacturers colours.

There's a Honda colour from the late 80's/early 90's thats as near as
dammit to LR Limestone - it's what I actually use when I paint them
because it's easy to obtain. I'll try and get either the code or the
mixing formula out of my tame paint supplier.
