Was originally going for black but now not sure as we'll have the dog in the back and worried it will absord too much heat, so thinking sand but not sure what it will look like. Tried googling but very few pageant blue LR's.

Personally on a series vehicle I think it should be sand regardless of the colour of the vehicle. I think it just looks right, nice and traditional. For me black makes them look too modern like they are trying to be a later model defender.
But if you wanted black, although I have no expirence with it, I would not have thought it would absorb too much heat. I have never got into my canvas series 3 on a hot day and been hit by the wall of heat you get in a standard body car. And that includes two weeks of 30+ degree heat when I took it to the picos in northern Spain.

i think the sand would look okay actually, the paint is dark enough that the 2 would contrast.

Actually thinking sand now anyway. Concerned the black will fade quickly and sand is timeless.

I know that the Marine Blue on mine isn't quite the same as your blue...but this will give you an idea what the Sand coloured canvas looks like

Very nice. I'm convinced now and got quotes from Undercovers an All Wheel Trim but going to probably go with internal roll down blind to cover the windows for the dog mainly.

Sand definitely black wouldn't look right
Saw a Defender near the end of our road a few weeks back with a black roof and nearly followed him as he turned into the road opposite. It was a black Defender and looked pretty mean.

By the way the colour of my pic is Kingfisher blue (I think). Pageant is a lot bluer and brighter and an original Stage 1 colour I believe.

I went with classic khaki from Undercover Covers for my 107" trayback . I didn't really consider sand , and definitely not blue . I am happy with how mine looks .

That don't look khaki to me as its not green enough. In fact looks more sand but could just be the picture!!!

I like the window size and proportion too - they look right. I excluded the Exmoor hood as the windows aren't right and it would continually annoy me.

Oh yeah that's a nice landy. Same year and colour I had some years ago. That combo makes me think I'd do that with mine. Currently Masai red with a station wagon hard top but I've got a full canvass tilt like that; looks great with the marine blue.

I'd like to know who's canvas it is too and also the dimensions of the windows as I'm told there is a standard but I can have whatever size I want. These look right.
