As the name of the thread may imply, I was wondering if anyone here has experienced or is currently using a series paddock soundproofing kit. If so, how effective is said kit?
Cheers guys.

Is anything from Paddocks any good??

I have used some carpet offcuts I found in a skip, cut to shape for the floor pans etc, made her a lot quieter, free as well.:D

i wouldn't put carpet anywhere near my floor or bulkhead, when i got mine it had sat with wet carpet on the floor and bulkhead and they were totally rotten.

Hmm, not that I would pay the price of a "SoundProofing Kit" but I was quite tempted to put some carpet or rubber mat on the bulkhead and other places...but as you say...it could certainly accelerate the rusting speed!

Spot on about the earmuffs. A set of those with ear speakers might be of benefit. It's all a bit modern for a series landie...what do they call those...earspeakermuffs? Not Sure. It would be a sound deading, and an audio solution all-in-one!

So in answer to my question then, no one here has tried that paddocks jobby then? Anyone tried anything similar like making there own from say machine mart rubber?

I've got hold of some rubber from work and hope to fit it this wkend. I'll let you know how it goes.

Abit worrying about the accellerated rusting though. Ah well!!
