After finally managing to open the centre cubby in my P38 I was rather amused and intrigued to discover this,

Anyone know which phone would probably fit it? I know it'll be an ancient one, but if it's GSM I'll get one just to use in the car.

Don't think so, they tended to use the CARK-91 kit, which this definately isn't.

Different connectors as well.

Nokia 6310?

I agree looking at the pins at the bottom and the socket to the top left hand side it definately looks like a Nokia fit, it looks the same as the one in my car which takes the old Nokia 6310 handsets. Ive never used it though. I got the new Alpine head unit fitted that pliugs into the IPOD (which goes in your glove box) and it has a handsfree fitment that connects to any phone via bluetooth

The antenna is on the wrong side for it to be that, look at the recess in the in the cradle for it.

ooo, I have one of those lying around somewhere, dont know whether its GSM though :confused:

Will have a look for it!

If you do manage to find it, and it takes a SIM card, would you be so kind as to post a pic of the arse end of it so I can see if it's got the right connectors?

And if it has, and it works, I may just want to buy it off you :)
