I have been routing around the interwebs trying to find a steering box seal for the output of the box but all I can find is one to suit up to a 97 model vin , mine is a late model, did the later ones have a different variation of steering box or where they the same alll the way through ? As I can't seem to find any other types ?

Dunno but where the link to the early one?

I think usually they wear in the centre and by the time they have issues it needs a total refurb so maybe that's why so few parts are available.

If the shaft wears/rusts like the classic a speedisleeve may well work & it uses the normal size seal.

If you take the old one off and measure the dimensions, give Wych bearings a ring and they'll have a new one with you the next day. Used them many times and they've always come up trumps.
