Advice please. My P38 keeps blowing the 20A fuse for the horn if I operate it for more than about 3 seconds. It's okay for just a short toot but if I want to give anyone a long blast the fuse blows. Any ideas on here?

Yes. New Horn(s) required, they are drawing too much current.

As far as I know, there are 2 horns, try disconnecting each in turn, maybe only one is duff.

That's a good idea, I'll try that because I just had a quick look online and they're around £70.00 each. Dan did you see my earlier post on the oil separator pipe insert, any ideas?

Cheaper on e-bay or a breakers I suspect.
No I didn't. If I go look and have anything useful to impart I will update it there.

You are looking for AMR3583 high note or AMR3584 low note. But they are totally silly money. Anything that makes a noise is good enough.

Thought about it before, with a switch to select that or the normal horn. I thought that mexican one (la macarata?) might be funny. But then I sobered up.

Just for fun I think the incredibly loud "Train Horns" are a giggle and scare the crap out of phone staring pedestrian jaywalkers.
