Any gurus know much about the door Amps in the P38 I have a dead one due to a rather long wade that filled the doors with water  and have 2 others in my spares pile but they have different numbers are they superseded or are they different ?

I think they are simply early & late versions. Different year High Line systems use the same pin connections on all 5 amplifiers. (low & mid-line don't have amps) Plug them in and see if they work. Probably worth cleaning any connectors that were under water.

Luckily a few hours with the hair dryer seemed to fix it was water everywhere somehow even the becm was ok after a strip apart and a dry out I think was a rather lucky escape in allo_O

But for those that do want to know I do need to strip one of my doors apart at some point as the rubber for the runner has fell out so when I do that I will plug one of the other ones in and see what happens and let you know

Yer it went mad wipers horn alarm trying to start itself etc whilst I was driving it  luckily I disconnected the battery pretty quick and took it apart straight away certainly was a lucky one , I now know that I need to move it away from the floor tho , the door seals are good but the water came in through the door card itself o_O
