Thanks Click to expand... There is no gems ECU on a 2.5D, the EDC is in the box behind the battery.. You cannot easily remove the immobilser software but it can in effect be disabled in the BECM.

Grrrrrr Technician, Bodgit & Scarper Ltd Full Member Nov 8, 2024 #3 As Datatek says you can sort of disable it with diagnostics. Replacing the chip with the code in the EDC module is the only other way.
