Were is the location of the gems ECU on my P38 2.5d 1996.i need to remove it so I can have the immobilizer software removed. Thanks

There is no gems ECU on a 2.5D, the EDC is in the box behind the battery.. You cannot easily remove the immobilser software but it can in effect be disabled in the BECM.

As Datatek says you can sort of disable it with diagnostics. Replacing the chip with the code in the EDC module is the only other way.

Or purchase a new EDC that has not been set to secure mode
