Hi guys,

My p38 won’t start (what’s new, haha)

It went to my local LR specialist to have diagnostics on why my air suspension won’t go into the right setting. He plugged his computer in and it wouldn’t make contact with the car. Straight after that the car then wouldn’t start. He popped the starter motor relay out and connected the fuses up with some wire he found while the key was in position 3. It started straight up.

My question is, where did he put the wire into, was it from the live terminal of the battery into one of the relay prongs or was it connecting the 2 or the 4 relay prongs together?

Thanks a million from a stranded LR fan!

FIXED for anyone with the same issue.

It was the top prong out of the 4 prongs of the starter motor relay, connected to the positive battery terminal. Ignition was set on the 3rd turn.

Why this has happened I still don’t know, but I’ll find out and come back to everyone.
