Going back to play with it today there are no fault codes it was read with an auto logic diagnostic. The only thing after setting the windows is a traction message on the dash
Traction message often comes up when Volts are low and battery is on its way out (even though TC itself is fine).
Cranking multiple times with no start-up will drop the Volts pretty quickly even on a decent battery.
Get it on diagnostics (proper ones).
@Nifty190 Check to see if the engine symbol comes up on the dash on ignition 2 or when cranking, if this is not illuminated, then it has lost sync or a fuse blew in the engine fuse box as what happened to my dads 4.6 V8. The sync mate indicated no power to the ECU, check fuse, low and behold this was the issue I can't remember what fuse number was check the symbols on box cover. Also if this is the case check wiring from the cat-converter as exposed wiring caused a short on the exhaust blowing the fuse.
This was on a GEMS engine though but may show same symptoms above. Hope it helps.
