hi i have 1996 2.5 dse last couple of days have had intermittent fault .
when waiting at junctions revs drop and return to normal a couple of times , then engine stalls , gearbox fault comes up on display , when this happens fuel gauge goes up , on restarting it usually stalls straight away and then returns to normal and gauge drops back down to correct level .
anyone got any ideas ,i thought maybe bad earth on fuel pump ,but thats just a guess ,thanks
