Hi does any one know the rivnut size or (od) for the side steps on a p38.

Very good but no! hole in chassis seems to be about 12.5mm in diameter

If they are 8mm rivnuts it will be. Don't fit side steps anyway they look **** on a P38.

Search on this site, it's been covered before. Essentially, only the originally supplied rivnuts will work, nothing else. Been there, tried it, failed, fell out. I did find some on the flea bay, they weren't cheap, but did the job. None available at the mo. I don't know what the aftermarket manufactures side steps use. Else drill a big enough hole in the bottom of the chassis to fiddle a nut up inside
