Hi Guys
I got a p38 4.6 LPG on a 2000 plate.
The drive has got very bouncy lately . I'm thinking its the shock absorbers.
Can anyone recommend a tried and tested make ?
any help will be appreciateds
Thanks
Phil :)

Stick with the originals. They lasted 12 years so why change. I think the OEM was Bilstein but I am not sure. Someone will be along shortly to confirm or correct.
I stuck with OEM when I changed my last year and wasn't disappointed.

armstrong were the OEM makers.

Avoid the really cheap ones, and if OEM is too expensive then Terrafirma are a happy medium, about £100 for a set of four. You will need a strap wrench to do them up though. Mine came without a captive hex at the bottom like the OEMs so good luck to the next person that has to undo them.

These are the ones I fitted this year, recommended...

OEM Quality Shocker made by "Boge", dont bother with ****part Shockers.

Island 4X4 are the cheapest as far as I know, links below.

Front and Rear

The factory shockers were actually sourced from several different suppliers over the years. My 2000 DSE came fitted with Boges as standard.

I have though replaced the front ones with new Boges and can recommend the ride.

DON'T buy britpart.. 1 lasted a few weeks the other sheared after a year or so.

just fitted Boge ride seems better
